There are some days where things just seem, well... perfect.
It's hard to describe the actual feeling, or even what is making it feel so good.
I do know that on days like these, nothing else matters in the world except for your own desires and contentment.
The weather is perfect
Everyone you talk to is in a good mood, and most certainly no one is mad at you.
It is the realization that amid this crazy world you are calm, and more importantly, happy.
Days like this bring you closer to God.
Now you may not be a Christian, but whatever beliefs you adhere to, days like this affirm your beliefs that maybe just for one singular moment, someone is watching after you.
It's almost as if you are invincible.. not in the sense that you go and try to be a superhero, but that you feel as if nothing can bring you down.
Days like this.
You get the perfect amount of sleep after a fun night out.
You wake up and eat a meal that is healthy, delicious, and most importantly for a college student... cheap.
The weather is a heavenly 78 degrees with a few clouds in the air.
Go to the pool, wear a tanktop, embrace the perfect summer atmosphere.
You see friends that have meaning in your life and you enjoy spending time with them
ON DAYS LIKE THIS
You know its one of those days when your first physical response is to smile.
Smiles can save a man from even the most shitty of situations.
Happiness is monumental
It's Days. Like. This.
we live to love
... and most importantly, Love to Live

thoughts
I was honestly about to write an apology for not keeping up with my blog. This brought an interesting thought to my mind. I have only written 4 blogs thus far and none of them have reall been of any importance.
-only a handful of people have even read them, yet i felt inclined to say im sorry for the absence in posts. its funny that i thought it was warranted, almost as if i thought all the things i said were really that important, or than people depended on me to show them how funny i think hipsters are.
-does anybody else think its weird how addicted to facebook we are. it has literally become a problem that people choose to give it up for lent. nevermind giving up drinking or fatty foods. but we realize facebook is a problem so much that we use our religious practices to relieve us from it... it's as if only God can free us from status updates. Also picture how weird facebook would be if it was all done with human interaction. everyone of your friends would be knocking on your door daily telliing you what they did, with who, and show a couple pictures to prove it. The internet has created a disconnect with real life that i don't think can ever be changed.
I will be labled with the utmost hypocrtical irony when i post this on my facebook.

Christmas Tree
So it's Christmas time again and people everywhere are starting to put up their decorations and lights. Although to be fair.....trade..... Most people put up Christmas lights as soon as they were done eating turkey on Thanksgiving.
Now my apartment is no exception, we have christmas lights and of course the very popular christmas tree.. It is not an ordinary tree though. It's a replica of the small christmas tree from the very famous Charlie Brown Christmas movie.
It looks like this....
It stands in the middle of our dining table and I think it brings the necessary christmas joy to the apartment without being too overbearing or in the way. A normal sized tree would just be too much in our place and if anything it would bring stress and discomfort.
I love how this little tree is just a subtle hint of the christmas spirit all Americans seem to think we need. It's almost as if we are just poking fun at how big and crazy christmas can get.
Maybe we can cover this small tree with lots of ornaments to show our over-enthusiasm for this so called "spirit", but then people may come over and comment on how the tree may now feel like it needs to dress up to be beautiful.. Crazy right? I mean trees don't have feelings. or do they>?.....
maybe christmas time is like prom night for trees. they see which ones get picked to go to the fancy houses and which ones get to put on all the fancy garlands, stars and ornaments. (Imagine what kind of trees are going to this "prom" with the popcorn garlands)
Anyways, that is all I have to say on the subject right now because my friend Billy came into my room and distracted me, therefore I now have writers block.
Follow my blog and stay fair trade :)

Ultimate Joy
Today I am going to write about one of the things in this world that bring me joy.... ULTIMATE JOY...
It is a thing called cuteroulette.com
Now this is not related to its more crude counterpart chat roulette.. That website has in itself been turned into a den of thieves.
But cute roulette is a website devoted to minute long youtube videos of insanely cute animals.. very very very laughable, cute, adorable animals.
It ranges from kittens trying to jump places you know they cannot reach, to panda bears sneezing.
- seemingly meaningless acts of animal behavior that for some reason tug at every compassionate heart string and bring a smile to even the most sad.
( I dare you to go to this site and Not smile.. go ahead try.. I will give you a minute)
-Now that you are back and smiling, I'm sure that some time has passed since you started reading this.. You probably got sucked into the site and didn't realize how many of the videos you actually watched.
** Your Welcome**
---I frequent this site when I am either bored or sad and after watching even one or two my day gets a turn for the better and I have a new found almost tangible joy that I cannot quench.
--- There are obviously other things in this world that bring me joy... but this site... I cannot even begin to describe how many times this has brightened my spirits.
## I know this post isn't about hipsters but it was on my mind and I thought I would share to the few people who read my blog. Which I am grateful for and thank you to those who read it.
So I will leave you with this, something that will hopefully bring you joy as I know that it does to me.

^^ I hope you enjoy that

Sugar
So my roommate went home to the illustrious "bay area" which is his hipster lingo for about 45 min from San Francisco. He is almost certainly now a hipster in my eyes... He brought me home a packet of fair trade sugar.. he told me the sad story behind it and how he thinks normal sugars and sweeteners are just corporate superpowers over charging us and trying to take over the world. He then grabbed his copy of Lord of the Rings, v-neck shirt, and skinny jeans and went on his merry way to class. (probably skipping, or riding his razor scooter)
-random side note-- Ever notice how you finish your homework for the night and then just get super bored??

^^I googled hipster and that is what I found^^
A friend pointed out to me once that she thinks I am obsessed with the word hipster..
-Maybe I'm a closet hipster
---that would be so ironic
---but to be fair.....trade.. I don't have a good enough fashion sense to be hipster
--- but also, in my writing about hipsterisms I am learning about the culture and it's movements
---is that meta?
My roommate just interrupted me to comment how I am "always" writing about him.. you know what I say to that?? I say.. button up your v-neck!
This was a very spontaneous blog post so it may seem a bit scattered but to be fair....trade.. (had to do it again, sorry) I was just sitting at my dining table and surveyed the room around me and started writing.
Thanks for reading?
-- and if you actually do enjoy this and somehow in the future it takes off into some really famous thing you can justifiably say... You read this before it was cool :)
