I have never been one to write in a journal, keep a diary, or avidly comment on facebook, but today I decided that I wanted to have a place where I could keep my thoughts.
The origin of the name of my blog is my sarcastic way of making fun of hipsters.. namely my room mate Nick Sidari.. Who is at any minute of the day laced with urban outfitters or some Che Guevara patch or emblem. I hope it is not insulting to anyone out there but I just find the whole movement of hipsterdom really funny... but for them, it's not a movement, it's probably an organized leisurely walk through some small town in a place that you haven't heard of yet but they have because they know of things before they're cool, while listening to the latest vinyl of Vampire Weekend
It seems that blogging is now the socially acceptable way of telling everyone your sarcastic comments about anything in the world.
-and the best part is that you can get away with it
Now I will admit that at first, I thought blogging was for computer geeks and nerds...... but to be fair, when the internet was in its early years it kinda was. I see the light now though and realize that this can be a good way to process one's thoughts and emotions.
I have to leave a little plug here for my friend Aranda Koch. She has successfully implemented me into her blog mylifelot.blogspot.com ... So I have to thank her for those many laughs that she has given me in her so called nick fanton alerts.
So I think that is all for my first blog post ever.. I will do my best to make this entertaining.
